Careers at Coram

As a forward-looking and responsive children’s charity, Coram is dedicated to creating better chances for children. We are on the lookout for talented and passionate people to join us in making a difference.

With almost 400 staff, a distinctive headquarters in Bloomsbury near King’s Cross and project teams across the UK, Coram’s core values infuse all that we do to help the most vulnerable children, young people and families in our society.

We are always on the lookout for talented people to join us in making changes for the better. We recognise that our strength lies in the quality of our people and we rely on your enthusiasm, experience, and commitment to maintain and build on our successes.

Award winning

We are extremely proud to have been awarded Investors in People (IiP) Gold Standard again for the third time. Our latest accreditation at Gold was awarded in February 2023. The accompanying report says ‘What was apparent throughout the assessment is the true dedication and passion your team have to deliver and promote best practice in the support of children and young people’ – it doesn’t get better than that!

Our core purpose is what matters to us.

Benefits

We’re driven by a purpose we care very much about. But delivering the right results for the children and families that depend on us needs people who feel supported, valued and appreciated for their efforts.

We provide a range of benefits which will reward your hard work and support you to give your best at work.

Equal opportunities

Coram is an equal opportunities employer and welcomes applications from all sections of the community.

Our commitment to diversity is embedded in all we do at Coram. We strive to create a working environment which is welcoming to all and where everyone is treated with dignity and respect.

Trustees

We’re looking to appoint new trustees across the Coram Group, particularly welcoming applications from those with lived experience in specific areas.

"Coram does some great work and it's great to be part of a group of charities that does such an array of different things. I enjoy being able to link up and work with teams across the group to be greater than the sum of its parts. The campus is beautiful with trees all around and access to great facilities. People are nice to work with and care about what they do."
Amy Spiller
Programme Manager - HALO & Young Citizens
"What is lovely about the group is the range of different work going on, all united in the aim to deliver better chances for children. It’s interesting to hear what everyone does on a day-to-day basis and how that varies, we also learn from one another. Oh… and the campus and location is second to none!"
Louise de Froment
Inclusions Manager
"Coram is a large and diverse organisation, the different pieces of which blend together to support children and young people. There are many incredibly talented and committed people here and it is a joy to work amongst them."
Rosalyn Akar Grams
