Coram has published its impact report for 2024/25, setting out how the Coram group of charities and organisations has supported hundreds of thousands of children and young people over the last 12 months.
Families facing holiday childcare bill of over £1,000 per child this summer, with significant gaps in provision for children with additional needs
Summer holiday childcare costs in Great Britain have risen by 4% in the last year, with working parents now facing an average bill of £179 per child per week – £1,075 for the six-week break – according to Coram Family and Childcare’s 20th annual Holiday Childcare Survey, published today.

Coram Beanstalk launches six weeks of challenges to inspire families to share books over the summer break
Ahead of the start of the school summer holidays, national children’s reading charity Coram Beanstalk today launches six weeks of challenges to help families find fun ways of sharing books together as an activity. The campaign comes as the Department for Education announces a National Year of Reading for 2026, to foster a love of reading in children.

The Coram Innovation Collective: From Insight to Impact 2025
This report, the third to be produced by Coram’s Innovation Incubator, seeks to collate projects and approaches developed from across the sector in a bid to tackle key challenges faced by children’s services by thinking in new ways. It offers a space for lessons to be shared, products and approaches to be known about and the opportunity to celebrate the people effecting change across the country as a collective force for positive change.
