This report, published while the Sierra Leonean Civil War was ongoing, examined the law and practice of Sierra Leone in the field of juvenile justice.

This report looked at the legal framework of the juvenile justice system in Sierra Leone and its implementation, the extent to which the system was in conformity with the international standards that the state was bound to uphold, and looked at the main challenges facing the juvenile justice system.
