The Coram Innovation Incubator is pleased to invite you to join us for our upcoming event, a Service Design webinar with EY Seren, EY’s UK Innovation and Design Studio.

This introductory service design session led by EY Seren has been developed to equip you with knowledge, skills and real-world service design examples and practical insights that can be be applied immediately. This webinar shines a spotlight on the design and development of a toolkit that provides support to local authorities (LAs) to re-design their Adult Social Care assessment operating models, commissioned by the Department of Health and Social Care.

During the webinar you will learn how to:

  • Take citizen-centred approaches to understand lived experience and define the right problem to solve
  • Design modern, fit for purpose and sustainable public services that meet citizen, staff and partner needs and improve outcomes
  • Deploy a test and learn mindset and methods to ensure the services meet the needs of all stakeholders
  • Deliver a joined-up service provision that generates savings, reduces duplication of effort and streamlines processes
  • Use service design tools and methods to incentivise and adopt new ways of working, and reduce, manage and delay demand at the front door

To bring the tools and approaches to life, we will share a real-life example of working with the Department of Health and Social Care on designing the Adult Social Care assessment toolkit for local authorities.
