The pandemic has caused disruption to our daily lives, but we’re all hoping to be able to enjoy some Christmas cheer, even if it’s virtual!
The children we support will be disproportionately affected by coronavirus,, so if you’re looking for inventive ways to celebrate Christmas, we’ve put together many ways you can support our work this December. Your support is hugely appreciated and will give children and young people the love and opportunity they need this Christmas.
1. Send a Christmas E-card
Without much opportunity to put Christmas cards in the hands of those you love this Christmas, why not use this year as the opportunity to go virtual with your Christmas cards? You can still let them know they are in your thoughts by sending one of our e-cards. It’s really simple – just choose your favourite design, add a personal message and donate to Coram.
2. Shop for good
There’s never been a better year for doing your Christmas shopping from the comfort of your sofa. But did you know you can support Coram while shopping, with no extra cost to you? We have a number of Shop For Good options, including Amazon Smile, as well as thousands of other shops through The Giving Machine and Gives as you Live. All you have to do is sign up and get shopping – and you’ll automatically generate funds for Coram.
3. Donate to our appeal
This Christmas, there are 2.2m children and young people living in vulnerable families. A gift of £25 or whatever you can afford could give a child or young person the love and opportunity they need to thrive in life.
