Will you take on the 2.6 Challenge?

  • 21 April 2020

The 2.6 Challenge is encouraging everyone to come together in solidarity to help do something to raise money to save the wonderful causes of charities across the country. The UK-wide campaign will take place for five days from Sunday 26 April, the day when the Virgin Money London Marathon was due to be held – where the runners would have taken on the 26 miles for charity themselves.

The challenge is based around the numbers 2.6 or 26, and can be anything you like! You could run, walk, skip or scoot for 2.6 miles, 2.6 kilometres or for 26 minutes. Or if you want to stay indoors, you could flip 26 pancakes, watch 26 films, or sing 26 songs. You have five days to complete your challenge, so get creative!

If 2.6 million people in the UK raise £26 each through this challenge, this will help achieve the £67 million total that the Marathon would have raised. If you want to get involved, you can either fundraise or donate to Coram, and we have a JustGiving page set up for all your fundraising efforts.

You can fundraise or donate to Coram over on JustGiving and share your images and videos of you completing your challenge on social media using the hashtag #TwoPointSixChallenge and tag @Coram.
