Ofsted commended Coram Capital Adoption as an ‘outstanding agency in every aspect’ and praised the ‘highly skilled and experienced’ team’s ‘exceptional’ dedication to families. Leadership was declared excellent, with leaders and managers of the team called ‘inspirational, confident and ambitious for all service users.’
Also praised in the report were the agency’s ‘very successful’ partnerships with local authorities, support provided to ensure children’s good health, social opportunities and learning and progress at school.
Coram Capital Adoption’s prominent and ‘forward thinking’ role in early permanence services was also noted for giving children in care “an excellent opportunity of an early placement with a prospective adoptive family.”
The group of adopters who met with the Ofsted inspector fed back that they felt the report also highlights that Coram Capital Adoption’s prospective adopters felt ‘valued and supported’ and that they were impressed by the “professionalism of staff, their positive attitude, their care and their dedication.”
Furthermore Ofsted commented: “Children have fantastic opportunities to build trusted and secure relationships with their adoptive parents…it is a very significant achievement to have no placement breakdowns despite some children having very complex backgrounds.”
