Colt Technology Services goes the distance

  • 15 September 2015

Colt Technology Services logoThe 445km cycling challenge, which took place from 11-14 September, smashed Colt’s previous fundraising targets for the past three years. To date, the team has ridden nearly 2,000kms for charity, having raised nearly £100,000 for Coram over the past two years alone.

Alice Lamb, Coram’s Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager, said: “Wow, what an amazing achievement from our long-standing supporters at Colt! We really appreciate your incredible cycling efforts and your commitment will transform the lives of thousands of children across the UK.”

Made up of a group of cyclists spanning nine different countries, Colt’s cycling team raised money to enhance the lives of children needing support from their own region, through their respective local charity partnerships. With the funds received from the Colt UK team, so far Coram has been able to change the lives of more than 3,000 vulnerable children and young people and the amount raised from this ride will help to impact upon even more young lives.

Colt Technology Services is an international telecommunications and IT services company and Colt UK’s employees voted Coram as the company’s charity partner in 2014.

There is still an opportunity to sponsor the riders here.
