The benefits of early permanence
Early permanence gives young children emotional, physical and legal security, which research has shown can make a huge difference to children’s lives. Permanence may be provided through family and kinship placements, long-term fostering, special guardianship orders and adoption.
How we support best practice in early permanence
We support best practice in early permanence placements for young children in care proceedings through our nationwide Early Permanence Network. Network members have access to a range of benefits including training, legal updates and events where they can share learning and support one another.
