Coram is proud to be chosen as one of the 2024 charity partners for the fifth series of the award-winning programme The Masked Singer on ITV.
The partnership has been announced by Bandicoot Scotland, the award-winning company behind The Masked Singer and a joint venture with global production group Argonon, to mark the launch of the latest series of the popular Saturday night TV show which sees celebrities singing while disguised in costume.
Comedian Joel Dommett returns to host the show, alongside panellists Davina McCall, Rita Ora, Jonathan Ross and Mo Gilligan, who will help the nation guess “who’s that behind the mask”. The new series, which launched on 30 December, features larger-than-life characters including Owl, Bubble Tea and Chicken Caesar.
During the partnership, Coram will be highlighting how its work helps children to shine and get their voices heard, just like the contestants in the show. Other exciting initiatives linked to the show will be announced during the partnership.
Dr Carol Homden, CEO of Coram, said: “We are delighted to be chosen as a charity partner to The Masked Singer, which brings the whole family together every week to hear the contestants’ voices at the heart of this much-loved show.
“The partnership will highlight how vital it is that every child – those in care, or who feel they have no say in decisions about their lives or no one to turn to – can get their voice heard and have a chance to shine and be proud of who they are. Thanks to the support of Bandicoot and ITV, we can encourage a wider conversation and together ensure every child is seen and heard.”
Niall Carmichael-Johns, Bandicoot Commercial Affairs Producer, said: “We are very excited to be partnering with Coram for an electrifying adventure on the latest series of The Masked Singer. Brace yourselves for a rollercoaster of surprises and jaw-dropping performances that will leave you on the edge of your seat. Plus, by joining forces with Coram we’re hoping to make a positive impact on kids as our loyal fans connect with all the great work Coram does across the UK. This series is not just a show, it’s a thrilling journey for the whole family!”
