Every online donation received by the charity during the campaign (1-8 December), will be doubled by generous match funding from the Reed Foundation and a small group of individual donors. With match funding, every donation will go twice as far in supporting young people with the greatest need and the most to gain from taking part in the Coram Shakespeare Schools Festival.
Many young people have acknowledged their mental health as one of the greatest challenges of lockdown and social distancing restrictions. We know that improving mental health and wellbeing is one of the major outcomes of CSSF’s programmes – it’s why the work is so important. The Festival gives young people the chance to work in a team towards a common goal, stay resilient in the face of complex language, conquer their stage fright under bright stage lights, and importantly, to get enjoyment out of learning.
This year’s innovative festival, One Night of Shakespeare, would never have been possible without the generous support of Big Give donors last year. Please support us during the Big Give Christmas Challenge from midday on 1 December until midday on 8 December.
