Baker McKenzie is one of the world’s largest law firms, with 77 offices in 46 countries, and over 6,000 lawyers. Its lawyers have been involved in CCLC’s Kids in Need of Defense UK (KIND UK) project for the last two years, leading to CCLC’s nomination and success in its subsequent staff vote to choose the firm’s Charity of the Year.
It is estimated that in the UK there are over 330,000 undocumented children and young people, some 100,000 children in care and around 14% of children with special educational needs and CCLC is at the forefront of providing many of these children and families with the legal support they need to achieve their rights.

This partnership will enable us to support even more children and families, as well as promote children’s rights more widely.”
