The new partnership will enable the City of London to benefit from Coram’s expertise in the field of adoption. An Ofsted Outstanding voluntary adoption agency (VAA), Coram has developed innovative partnerships with local authorities to manage and deliver their adoption services.
To date, Coram’s successful partnerships with Kent, Harrow and Redbridge are delivering excellent outcomes for children waiting to be adopted, helping ensure that greater numbers of children have the best chance of stability and secure loving attachments from as early as possible. Coram has also worked with Cambridgeshire County Council to establish a dedicated VAA, Coram Cambridgeshire Adoption, the first of its kind to operate the delegated function of local authority.
