Coram publishes Digest of Achievements 2017-18

2017-18 has seen us extend the work we do not only nationally but internationally too, working in 27 countries to help children suffering with separation and loss, emotional difficulties and other complex issues.

To celebrate the 350th anniversary of the birth of our founder Thomas Coram, this year saw us call for all children to be ‘Respected and Protected’, with our new report being launched at the House of Commons. Another key highlight was the development of a national quality mark for early permanence, and this year Coram was also instrumental in 11% of all adoptions.

In the coming year we look forward to opening The Queen Elizabeth II Centre, creating better life chances for children as a national centre of excellence, as well as publishing a book for children on the story of Thomas Coram, the first champion for children.
