Want to make a difference as a helpline volunteer?

  • 15 November 2016

We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join a small team that supports calls and advocates for the rights and entitlements of children in care, empowering them to have a voice in the decisions social services make on key aspects of their lives.

We also provide urgent support to vulnerable callers across the UK, in particular children and young people who present as homeless

Get in touch if you think this is something you can do and you can commit to volunteering for at least one day a week for a minimum of one year.

We think the role will be of interest to people looking to develop a career involving advice, advocacy, children rights, legal work, social work and youth work. Or, for retired people interested in sharing your valuable experience of working in such careers to support the work of a children’s charity.

Coram Voice has been a part of the Coram group of charities since October 2013. Our helpline provides direct advocacy support to over 3,800 children a year.
