Analysis of the Juvenile Justice System in Georgia

This 2007 report analysed the Georgian juvenile justice system and provided recommendations.

The analysis examined the extent to which the legislation and practice relating to children in conflict with the law is consistent with the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, the UN Minimum Standards and Norms of Juvenile Justice, and contemporary notions of good practice in juvenile justice. 20 recommendations were made to bring the juvenile justice system in line with law and standards.
