There are 2.3 million children in the UK who do not have the love and opportunity they need to thrive.

Coram brings together a wide range of experts in children’s needs and issues to improve the life chances of children and young people:

  • We help create loving adoptive families
  • Our one-to-one reading support helps put children back on track for confidence and success in life
  • Our helpline and advocacy services are a pillar of support for young care leavers that is always there for them, whatever challenges they face

More than one in ten care leavers aged 18 to 20 experience homelessness. Your donation could give a voice to young care leavers and fund the support they need during their difficult transition to adulthood.

Around one in four children leave primary school unable to read as well as they should. Their wellbeing, confidence and self-esteem are severely affected, and their future education and job prospects are diminished. You can help them become lifelong readers.

Right now, there are around 2,000 children waiting to be adopted in England. More than half of them have been waiting more than 18 months to find a family. One quarter of children who attend a Coram Adoption Activity Day are matched with adoptive families. Your gift can help us build loving families and brighter futures.
