We support practitioners, providers, organisations, local authorities, and central governments to achieve high quality, sustainable early years and childcare. We provide project management, consultancy, research, and training in national, regional, and local strategy, planning, service improvement, curriculum and pedagogy best practice, child protection, and service delivery.
Our work
We have helped others to develop many thousands of childcare places, shaped local policy and strategy (e.g. Sure Start, children’s centres, Family Hubs), and supported and challenged the national implementation of childcare sufficiency duties, early learning for least advantaged two-year-olds, 30 hours childcare, Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme, and now wraparound childcare and expanded early years entitlements.
We deliver hundreds of training sessions, workshops and events each year for early years and childcare providers, schools, local and national charities and corporate organisations, trustees and management committees, and retail brands.

Our consultancy and research
Whether it be a problem that needs solving, new ideas developing or implementing, or innovation to design and deliver, we are pleased to help.
Our team works in partnership with you, your partners and service users, right from the start, and throughout our delivery – which could be as short as one day, or for as long as 10 years.
